"Archaeology between East and West" (ISSN 2974-7651) aims at offering a space for discussion of aspects, themes, changes in approaches and methods without any areal or chronological distinction. "Archaeologies between East and West" is deliberately declined in the plural and with very broad geographical and cultural horizons to emphasize not only the interdisciplinary character that has now assumed the archaeological research, but also to stimulate reflection on innovative sectors and approaches. The idea that animates the new publishing initiative is to host thematic in-depth studies, also experimental and transdisciplinary, in which different methodologies of documentation, survey, data management and interpretation can converge.

The magazine will contain three sections: Discoveries, Thematic Insights, Reviews. The first section is intended to accommodate short excavation reports, the second scientific essays - without limitations related to geographical, cultural and chronological areas -, the third, reflections on important editorial news. The length of the contributions (in Italian or English) must respect the following criteria: Discoveries: max 10,0000 characters including spaces and 5 images; Thematic insights: 50,000-100,000 characters and 10-15 images; Reviews: max 10.0000 characters including spaces.

Contributions will undergo a review process according to the “double-blind” modality. Editors, authors, and reviewers will manage on the SHARE (Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research) platform, the operations of submission, review and, in case of acceptance of the contribution, its publication.
