Abstract

Since the end of the 19th century, the letters of the Pontifical Chancellery have been published by the French School of Rome. Then in 2002, they benefited from a digital edition distributed by Brepols in Europe, America and Asia. Researchers in Germany, France and Italy consult it most frequently. Such an edition, like the work done by the authors of Repertorium Germanicum, opens research leads to researchers. The realizations of Fasti Ecclesiae Gallicanae are an example of a work done collectively in part thanks to digital editions.
