In particular, the international conference on “living and walking in the city” is a significant annual event, which has been occurring regularly for some time, which has discussed the ways of spreading the results of research in this area. The whole of the activities carried out deals however mainly with the feasibility of services of society and for improving the quality of life of people for which their security is the essential element. The civil society to which the activities of the Cescam are directed on the one hand require, even by means of this association, precise knowledge in this subject matter, and on the other hand the civil society is the direct beneficiary of the research carried out by this study center.
