Reduci, refoli, rivoli. Il mondo in subbuglio di Terézia Mora
Abstract
English article title: Reduces, trickles, rivulets. The world in turmoil by Terézia Mora
Translated so far into more than ten languages, Terézia Mora now enjoys a consolidated reputation as one of the most original voices in the fiction of the early 21st century. Within the writer’s extensive body of work, the article focuses on Alle Tage and Die Liebe unter Aliens, two works that have gained particular resonance in Italy thanks to the translations by Margherita Carbonaro and Daria Biagi. However, there are references to the previous collection of short stories Seltsame Materie and the more recent novels. The common thread is the shared deconstruction of the concept of identity through linguistic and narrative strategies that lead to a true demolition of the very category of Identität with a dialogical perspective on translation as both a discipline and a life choice.
